Danner Acadia 8" boots — 600 miles in

BootsBoots on porch

Broke them in fast, kept the ankle locked, dried out overnight after a wet shift. The Vibram sole still grips on a slick rig floor. Not cheap, but they're the last pair I bought.

Reaper Squeezins — does the hype hold?

Hot sauce

Carolina Reaper forward, vinegar back, no sugar to hide behind. Two drops on eggs and you'll feel it through breakfast. I keep the bottle in the truck.

// About

Career firefighter. This is what I do with the rest of the time.

Off The Clock is a personal field log. Gear I actually use, food I actually cook, places I actually go. No sponsorships, no filler, no manufactured drama. If it shows up here, it earned the page.
